This is a part-time coaching role, working with selected players at our Goalkeeper Development Centres across the region. This is a player development position working within the FDS framework for developing Goalkeepers to achieve their potential and work towards the professional game.

.A Goalkeeper coaching qualification is required and previous experience desirable.

FDS currently offer coaching apprenticeships for those aged 16-24 who would like to get paid whilst training to be a coach. Both one-year full-time and two-year part-time apprenticeships are available.

Successful applicants will:

Shadow FDS-Aston Villa staff in school sessions, development centres, shadow squads and at events.

Gain a 1st4Sport Level 2 in Activity Leadership.

Gain FA Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications based on appropriate progress.

Travel with our squads to European tournaments in Holland, Finland, Germany, France, Denmark, Estonia and more.

This is a part-time position taking an age group for 11 fixtures this season against professional academies. Coaches will also be required for squad training days.

This is a player development position working within the FDS-Aston Villa framework for developing players for the professional game. The ethos is development first, results second, whilst developing individuals before developing the team.

A Level 3 coaching qualification is desirable, with Level 2 essential. You will need to have your own transport.

We offer very good rates of pay in relation to the professional game (depending on your qualifications) and a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of professional youth football.
